Here is part 2 of Top Truck Champions Challenge 2012 event. This has longer runs, even less music, and includes the amazing Montpas Tank Trap finish.


This is Toby Harrell Spanking the tank trap at TTC Top truck Champions Challenge 2012.
Driving a 2012 Rock Ware chassis Mini Cooper, Built at West Texas Offroad. Tires are 44" Boggers cut by Racing in the Dirt. Total time was about 7:45 he spent 1.45 Seconds on his side and another 1:15 putting the winch back up and getting his spotter back in.

Australasian Safari Rally 2010

Australasian Safari 2010 - The Prologue race determines the starting line up for leg 1, it's a qualifying round.


Leg 1 - Southern Cross to Leonora.
As the Safari is a long distance off-road rally being ran in an isolated area, sometimes it takes us a while to collate the full results and penalties.
Our aim for this year, was to get as much vision as possible up online for you guys at home to be part of safari.


Leg 2 - Day 1 of the two day marathon course racing in the outskirts of the lovely Leonora.


Leg 3 - second day of the Marathon leg. From Leonora to Coolgardie.


Leg 4 - 470kms from Coolgardie and heading to Norseman for a two night stop over.


Leg 5 - Competitors start from Norseman, this leg is different again as there is no other town they have to travel to for the next night which gives the option to complete in the surrounding areas and different landscapes of Norseman, as they finish off for their second and final night in Norseman.


Leg 6 - A great day, Competitors had a awesome time! tested both their stamina and their skill with only 1 more day of racing to go.
Started at Norseman travelling through some fast sections to Esperance.


Leg 7 - The Final leg for the Australasian Safari.

Mopar Ram Runner

This is a new kind of Ram. Inspired by Baja-style desert racing, this 4x4 is unlike any other in captivity. The rigors of off-road racing require large tires, plenty of ground clearance, extreme durability and a sophisticated suspension system capable of withstanding tremendous impact. These features are combined into a package that is stable at speed and rock-solid in the corners. To achieve this kind of handling, a low center of gravity and long wheel travel are paramount.
The Mopar Ram Runner has the look and feel of thoroughbred desert racer. Inspired by trophy trucks, steel front fenders and rear bed-sides are replaced with fiberglass, allowing tremendous suspension articulation with zero interference.
Vehicle information: Prototype of full suspension that Mopar will offer later this year 35-inch x 12.5-inch x 17-inch DOT-approved General Grabber Competition tires Three-inch diameter internal bypass Fox shocks provide front and rear motion control 6061 T6, billet aluminum upper A-arms contain rebuild-able, high-angle ball joints that permit a massive 14 inches of wheel travel High-angle CV joints are combined with plunging, splined axles made of 300 M tool steel and 1.00-inch diameter high-angle tie rods 4130 chromed moly steel lower control arms Variable-rate coils support bed loads while special control arms provide 14 inches of wheel travel Custom tubular Baja bumper and aluminum skid plate combination that housed four high-powered, LED off-road lights A six-point roll cage finalizes the package while a special tubular tire carrier keeps a spare handy in the bed while maximizing load space.

Mopar Underground brought out their Ram "Runner" and Power Wagon to show of their capabilities and have some fun in the Moab, UT dunes during the 2010 Moab Easter Jeep® Safari.

Speed Pit Loftis Memorial Mud Race 2010

Rodney Loftis Jr. honored his father this past September by holding the Rodney Loftis Sr. Memorial Mud Race in Sissonville, West Virginia. There were some great trucks and dragsters there that day and many we had never seen. The track was pretty shallow and dry which lead more to fast runs than bogging. We appreciate Rodney giving us the invite to this special event.

TALA Mud Bog Speed Pit 6-27-10

Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum (TALA) opened up a two lane 150 drag strip this year in place of the Hill n Hole. On this day the WVMRA (West Virginia Mud Racing Association) drivers took mud runs down both sides. We were at Linger Run mud bog the day before but were told they did side by side drag racing that day. TALA also ran their mud pit on this hot June day. This was Cassidy's first time shooting a mud bog. She got her but kicked at first but quickly catches on and gets better and better as the day goes on.

West Virginia Timber and Wood Products Show in Holly Gray Park at Flatwoods, WV held the first West Virginia Mud Racing Association(WVMRA) point series race of the 2008. This video features the speed pit of the day and the mud pit videos can be seen on HillbillyProud . com. Five different POV(Point of View) shots can be seen throughout the video.

The sun beat down on a hot day in June as the racers gathered in Gap Mills, WV at Gator Hole for some fast mud racing. Promoters said the mud pit was shallower than usual which lead to fast times for everyone. The Speed pit saw some of the West Virginia Mud Racing Association's usual suspects of raw power.

Monster Energy has announced their support of BJ Baldwin for the 2011 desert racing season! This exclusive video features "Ballistic" BJ Baldwin battling Robby Gordon off the starting line at the 2011 SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge on Saturdays race. Watch the boys rub shoulders and trade blows as they complete an entire lap at breakneck speeds. Despite leading for the majority of his races on Saturday and Sunday - BJ experienced some mechanical issues and did not podium. However he did finish the race, and is poised to come back bigger and better. Next up - the Best In The Desert Parker 425.

Top Truck Challenge XIV in 4 parts

Part 1 of a 4 part series. The 14th annual Top Truck Challenge. Four Wheeler magazine presents a whole new sequence of obstacles as teams from the country compete. 10 teams are voted into the competitions and must endure challenges like the Frame Twister, Mud Pit, Obstacle Course, Tank Trap and Mini Rubicon.

After several competitors run into trouble on Day One of the obstacles, the mood at the 14th annual Top Truck Challenge from Hollister Hills Off-Road Park starts to get tense. Rotorua Winch Challenge 2010

This competition runs every year in the Mamaku Forest which is a 30 minute drive northwest of Rotorua.
Considered to be the toughest 4wd winch competition in the North Island of New Zealand.
The placing in the captions are the over all finishing positions for the entire event.
The Challenge Class is for road legal vehicles with unlimited modifications and the Club class for non road legal vehicles and club trucks with a lower level of modifications.

This Mad Media produced clip features highlights of Casey's battle in Shannon Campbell's 2009 custom built KOH rig.
Casey had a spectacular start, passing 15-20 vehicles over the first fifty miles.
With a mere five miles to go from finishing, he entered the treacherous "Sledgehammer" section of the coarse and attacked it's nearly impassable rock faces and giant boulders,
Casey made it half way up the hill, but after getting stuck and passed by another competitor, he lost his front air shocks and the airline to both his lockers, leaving him stranded.
